Pramod learnt tabla at home from his father Pundit Hom Nath Upadhyaya. Drawing inspiration from his maestro father Pramod started playing tabla when he was a toddler and at the age of five he performed at then Royal Nepal Academy (now Nepal Academy) which was his maiden show. His first abroad tour was for the German Unification Day in Germany. He had also an opportunity to learn tabla from legendary Ustad Alla Rakha from an institute named after the Ustad himself in Bombay, India. Preeti Kaur is a celebrated Nepali-Punjabi pop and R&B singer born on April 26, 1981, in Kathmandu, Nepal, to Indian-origin Sikh parents. Known for her soulful voice and genre-blending style, she began her musical journey in the late 1990s and gained national recognition after winning the Shikhar Beat Contest as Best Vocalist in 2003. Her debut song Jhan Jhan Badhyo marked the beginning of a prolific career in both solo and collaborative projects. In 2012, she made her Bollywood debut with the song Promises from the film Unforgettable. She has since released several popular tracks, including Chimlera Aakha, Timrai Lagi, and Rahar. Sachin Singh is a Nepali musician based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has composed and arranged music for more than 45 Nepali films. He has also composed music for numerous music albums of various Nepali singers. In Kathmandu, Sachin started working in Symphonic Studio as a guitarist, taught music in schools and played guitar in a restaurant. He composed song Hijo Aaja for Sukmit Gurung's album Hijo Aaja in 1991. He then arranged music for the Nepali film Sweekar of Subodh Shridhar. After a gap of two years he again worked in the film Dharma where he went unnoticed. He gained attention with the song Mero Maya Lai Bari Lai in Ragat (1997). His fame came with the film Sagun (1998) where he composed popular songs like 'Aago Lagyo Dilaima Damkal Bolaideu'. This was a turning point in the Sachin's musical career. Nepal has many flautists but no one has completed his Masters in flute-playing as has Jeevan Ale, He completed his Masters from the Prayag Institute of Illahabad, India. Having devoted more than half of his life to classical music, this resident of Mahottari has finally received accolades for his efforts. Though interested in flutes from an early age, Ale says that he only understood the intensity of its music when he started studying it. he was more involved in the academic side of music rather than the practical. Manila Sotang is a Nepali singer. Manila was trained in music early in life by her uncle who taught her to sing bhajans. After singing playback for the film Mayalu, she was noticed as a singer. Manila has sung more than 200 songs to date. She has 10 music albums with her husband Uday Sotang. The husband-wife musical couple have contributed to Nepali Adhunik (modern) music for two-and-a-half decades. Manila Sotang is originally from Darjeeling, India. She moved to Kathmandu along with her husband Uday Sotang to pursue their musical career in the late 1980s. Her daughter Shreya Sotang is a singer who has also released an album.

Ankit Babu Adhikari is a musician, singer and lyricist from Kathmandu, known from his as finalist in Nepali Tara season 3 & the voice. Ankit started his musical career by composing and performing songs for a post-modern play Coma; A Political Sex staged at Shilpee Theatre, Kathmandu in 2014. Sangita Pradhan Rana was born on 15th July 1962 in Biratnagar, Nepal. However, she spent most of her childhood in India after her family moved there when she was just 2 years old. She was born as the youngest daughter to L.M. Pradhan and Shanti Devi Pradhan, and she has three brothers and two sisters. Growing up, Sangita was a shy, disciplined, and polite child with minimal interest in mischief. Sangita completed her early schooling at St. Joseph School in Darjeeling before moving to Calcutta (now Kolkata) to pursue her higher education at Vishwabharati University, where she earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees. 🎶 Musical Journey and Passion for Classical Music From an early age, Sangita's mother, who had a deep passion for music, encouraged her to join music classes at the age of six. Parashuram Bhandari is a Nepali master of the sarangi. He hails from the former Kingdom of Nepal, a country of dramatic beauty with a rich and appealing culture. His music ranges from the wildly exuberant to the hauntingly delicate, presented with the rhythmic power that is his signature. The sarangi, whose name means "hundred colors," is an instrument with a cello-like timbre, bowed on three melody strings, with thirty-six sympathetic strings underneath, giving it a haunting cello-like resonance and bright reverberating echo. It is best known for its emotional intensity and its uncanny similarity to the timbre and inflections of the human voice. Parashuram is the only sarangi musician in Nepal to play in the North Indian Classical style. He plays Nepali traditional music on the country's traditional sarangi. The Nepali sarangi is a small hand-carved version of the classical sarangi, an instrument equivalent to the traditional American fiddle. Born in the Kathmandu Valley and educated in India, Parashuram studied with guru Pandit Bacchalal Misra of Varanasi and Senior Musician Gopal Nath Yogi. He received his Master's Degree in Music from Prayag Sangit Samiti. An independent artist, Parashuram Bhandari has published the only textbook on sarangi and is the recipient of National music awards in Nepal. He has performed in numerous countries and released two solo CD's among others with the acclaimed musical group Om Shringara Nepal.
