Dipendra Lama is a renowned Nepali film director, writer, and former film journalist who transitioned into filmmaking after an 18‑year career in film journalism. He is widely recognized for directing successful films such as Ghampani (2017), Gopi (2019), Chha Maya Chhapakkai (2019), Dui Numberi (2022), and Nango Gaun (2023). His upcoming film Dukhi Aatma (2025) continues his trajectory as one of Nepal’s most consistent storytellers.Born into a Buddhist Tamang family, Lama began his professional journey in 2000 as a film journalist at Naya Sadak Daily, later contributing to major publications including Nepal Samacharpatra, Spacetime, Naya Patrika, Nepal Weekly Magazine, and Nagarik. His journalistic excellence earned him the Fine Art Journalism Award (2016) from the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts.His directorial debut, Ghampani (2017), marked his shift from journalism to cinema, driven by his deep understanding of storytelling and social issues. The film addressed caste discrimination and received strong critical reception.

Praku Pandey is a Nepali film director, writer, and visual storyteller active in the Nepali film industry since 2013. He began his career as an associate director and writer, contributing to narrative development and on‑set creative execution across multiple projects before transitioning into full‑fledged direction.He made his directorial debut with the rural‑romance feature Malati Mangale, a film he also wrote, produced by singer‑actor Ram Krishna Dhakal.

Yogesh Ghimire is a Nepali film director and writer who began his directorial career in the 2000s after working extensively as a chief assistant director on films such as Pirati Afai Hudo Raicha, Timrai Lagi, Kranti, Kanchi Nani, and Maidaan. Transitioning to direction with titles like Sapoot, Samjhana, Timi Matra Timi, Samjhana, Mero Maya Timilai, and Na Birse Timilai Na Paye Timilai, he later gained wider recognition through Notebook, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Prem Diwas, and Radha, noted for emotional storytelling and mainstream appeal.

Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar was born on Saturday, Mangsir 13, 2032 (November 29, 1975) in Gaurishankar VDC of Sarlahi district to the late father Keshav Prasad Upreti and mother Narayani Devi Upreti. Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar obtained her bachelor's degree in film directing and screenwriting from the College of Film Studies in BS 2064.Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar had experience as an assistant director in the feature films 'Bir Ganeshman', 'Man Mandir', 'Siwandko Sindoor', and 'Mamaghar' from 2000 to 2002. She also served as the 'Costume Coordinator' for the film 'Bir Ganeshman'.Rauniyar was the event coordinator for the film awards ceremony organized by the Nepali Film Technicians Association in 2008 and 2011 and the awards organized by the Nepal Advertising Association in 2008 and 2010. She was also the event manager for the 'Business Excellence Awards' and 'Call Competition' ceremonies organized by Boss and Bhapatrika from 2004 to 2008. She also worked as a 'Marketing Executive' for 'Divya Drishti' Television (2001 to 2001), 'Marketing Personnel and Production' for 200 Channels Pvt. Ltd. (1996-1998), and 'Media Executive' for Key Mark Ad Agency (1998).In 2010, Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar worked as the Creative Head (ACH) for Balaji Telefilm Pvt. Ltd., Bombay, and in the same year, she worked as a coordinator for the documentary film 'Over Mumbai' produced by the Indian Embassy. The documentary analyzed the relationship between Nepal and Nepal. Before that, she worked as an assistant director on the film 'Raid Aar Rang' directed by Neeraj Pathak in 2009 and produced by Ikkon and Mukta Arts in 2009. She also worked as an assistant director on the film 'A Strange Love' by Crystal Films directed by Tariq Khan in 2009.She also worked as an assistant director in six feature-length films, each one produced by Bhandarkar Entertainment, which were broadcast on Sony Entertainment Television in Bombay in 2009.
