Renowned Nepali songwriter and lyricist, singer, musician NB Dahal (Nar Bahadur Dahal) has made significant contributions to Nepali music in various genres. More than 60 songs of N. B. Dahal are public, some are sung by him and some are in the role of composer or lyricist. He has collaborated with a dozen famous artists.

Jonisha Poudel is a talented Nepali classical vocalist known for her mastery of the khayal genre and her graceful presence on both traditional and contemporary stages. Originally from Pokhara, she has trained extensively in Hindustani classical music and has performed at esteemed venues such as Kalanidhi Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, Kirateshwar Sangeetashram, and Rastriya Sanskritik Sansthan. Jonisha is a regular performer at Surya Nepal Jazzmandu, where she blends ancient raaga-based singing with global musical dialogues. Her collaborations include devotional works like Saraswati Bandana with Kundan Pathak and light music hits such as Figure Coca-Cola. She is also the lead vocalist of the band Vastu, showcasing her versatility across genres. Chandra Kumar Rasaili, popularly known as CK Rasaili, is a Nepali musician, composer, and lyricist. He was born in Baluchistan, Pakistan, while his father was serving in the British Army. He later studied in Meghalaya, India, where he played in an orchestra before moving to Nepal. Rasaili gained recognition after performing at Rastriya Nach Ghar during King Mahendra’s birthday celebration, where the King personally gave him a song to compose. He has worked with Radio Nepal and composed music for Nepal Police and Nepal Army. His contributions to Nepali music earned him prestigious awards, including the Narayan Gopal Memorial Award (2017) and the Natikaji National Music Award. Dipak Sharma is a powerhouse in the Nepali music industry, known for his melodic versatility and emotional depth. Since beginning his career in 2061 B.S., he has composed over 1,000 songs across genres—ranging from modern pop and folk to film scores and Teej anthems. Early Life & Musical Roots Sharma moved to Kathmandu in 2060 B.S. after completing his SLC. While working in a hotel, he pursued music under the guidance of Guru Narhari Premi at Shruti Sangeet Vidyalaya. His first composition was the folk tune Dhalke Pipal, which marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. Artistic Vision Dipak Sharma is known for blending traditional Nepali melodies with modern arrangements. His music often carries emotional storytelling, making him a favorite among both listeners and fellow artists.
