Her love for music blossomed as she started writing her own lyrics and composing songs, and her talent was soon recognized after winning a competition that led to her recording her first song. Her breakthrough moment came with the song "Chahana Sakiyo", which garnered significant attention and appreciation. This success paved the way for her to collaborate with popular singer Yash Kumar on his album, marking a major milestone in her career. Over the years, Shashi has contributed to various albums, remixes, and jingles, establishing herself as a talented and versatile artist. With a gold medal in her junior diploma from Kala Nidhi Indira Sangeet Maha Vidhalaya, Shashi Rawal continues to grow as an artist, constantly exploring new avenues to express her passion for music.

Ustad Asha Gopal was a respected classical vocalist from Kathmandu and the father of Swor Samrat Narayan Gopal. He was deeply involved in the devotional music culture of New Road, Kilagal, and surrounding temple areas, where he regularly led and participated in bhajan–kirtan traditions. During Narayan Gopal’s childhood, Ustad Asha Gopal often took him along to these bhajan mandalis, where the young Narayan accompanied the ensemble on basic instruments, absorbing classical discipline and devotional musical structure from an early age.Although formal recordings of Ustad Asha Gopal have not been found, his influence is widely acknowledged in oral histories. His grounding in classical and devotional music shaped the early musical environment that nurtured Narayan Gopal’s sense of melody, discipline, and vocal purity. Researchers consider him an important figure in Kathmandu’s traditional music circles of the early 20th century.

Himal Sagar is a Nepalese pop and modern singer, music composer and lyricist. Born in Jhapa, he started his singing at the early age of 11 covering songs of noted Bollywood singers – Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan and Sonu Nigam to name a few. He released his first original music album ‘Relation’ in September 2003.
