Madhav Prasad Ghimire was a celebrated Nepali poet and scholar, honored as the "Rashtrakavi" (National Poet) of Nepal. Born on September 23, 1919, in Lamjung, Nepal, he had a literary career spanning over eight decades. His works, such as Gauri, Malati Mangale, Shakuntala, and Himal Pari Himal Wari, are considered masterpieces of Nepali literature. Ghimire's poetry often explored themes of nature, romance, patriotism, and societal truths. He was inspired by the works of Rabindranath Tagore and contributed significantly to Nepali literature through epic poems, plays, essays, and songs. He also served as the Vice Chancellor and Chancellor of the Royal Nepal Academy. He passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations.

G. Shah is the literary identity of former King Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah, whose poetic and lyrical works have contributed a distinct voice to Nepali music and literature. Active as a songwriter and poet, his creations reflect deep patriotism, emotional sincerity, and a profound attachment to the Nepali soil. Rajendra Shalabh (also credited as Rajendra Salav) is a veteran Nepali filmmaker and lyricist whose career spans cinema, literature, media, and cultural programming. Active since 1990, he has directed notable Nepali films such as Bijaya Parajaya (1990), Bhauju (1993), and Paribhasha (1994), and contributed as a lyricist and writer across multiple projects.Beyond cinema, Shalabh is recognized as a poet, cultural organizer, and media professional. He has been involved in poetry recitation programs, literary events, and audiovisual poetry projects featuring major Nepali poets. His multidisciplinary work extends into television production, education, and entertainment management, including serving as Executive Director of CG Entertainment and working as a Law Associate at Tribhuvan University.

Buddha Bir Lama is a senior Nepali lyricist with more than four decades of contribution to Nepali music, known for his poetic depth, cultural imagery, and emotionally expressive writing. Originally from Ilam and now based in Kathmandu, he is regarded as one of the respected lyricists of his generation.Before entering songwriting, he was also a marathon runner, a discipline that shaped his perseverance and artistic sensitivity. Over the years, he has written hundreds of songs, many of which became widely loved across Nepal.Although his songs are frequently performed in reality shows, live concerts, and digital platforms today, this reflects the general trend of Nepali music culture—once a song becomes popular, it is sung everywhere by many artists. His recognition comes not from repetition in shows, but from the quality, longevity, and emotional strength of his writing.
