Rajendra Shalabh

Dinesh D.C., whose full name is Dinesh Raj Dahal, is a prominent figure in the Nepali entertainment industry. He has made significant contributions as a film director, producer, actor, and TV presenter. Over the years, he has directed and acted in several acclaimed Nepali films, including Maya's Bar and Chha Ekan Chha. His work has earned him numerous awards, such as the National Film Award for Best Director. Beyond his film career, Dinesh D.C. has also been involved in broadcasting, serving as the Station Head of Kantipur Television Network and Station Manager of Radio Kantipur. In 2019, he was honored with the Prabal Janasewa Shree award for his contributions to Nepalese society.

Anmol Gurung is a multi-talented director, writer, singer, and music composer hailing from the Kalimpong/Darjeeling region, working in Nepali cinema.

B.S. Thapa is recognized as one of the early pillars of Nepali cinema, contributing as a director, writer, and actor during the formative decades of the industry. He is best known for directing the acclaimed film Manko Baadh (1973), which earned strong appreciation for its emotional depth and social storytelling. Thapa also worked on several influential projects that helped shape the narrative style of Nepali films in the 1970s and 1980s, bringing literary sensitivity and dramatic realism to the screen. His commitment to character‑driven stories and disciplined filmmaking made him a respected figure among his contemporaries. Through his films, mentorship, and long-standing dedication to the craft, B. S. Thapa played a meaningful role in strengthening the foundation of Nepali cinema.  

Ghanashyam Lamichhane is a Nepali filmmaker and director from Pokhara, active in cinema since 2000. Beginning his creative journey in theatre in 1998, he transitioned into film direction and established himself through works such as Dhauli (2014), Panche Baja (2018), Agnidahan (2017), London to Paris, and Chitra (2024). He has also directed TV serials including Aadha Khusi and Karkale Mamako Chautari, and produced the latter. With over 20 music videos, multiple documentaries, short films, and seven feature films, Lamichhane is recognized for his grounded storytelling and was honored with the Special Jury Award by the Film Development Board for Agnidahan in 2018.
