D.B Pariyar was a pioneering Nepali filmmaker best known for directing, writing, and shaping Satya Harischandra (1950), widely regarded as the first Nepali‑language feature film. Working from India during the early diaspora era of Nepali cinema, Pariyar helped establish the narrative, technical, and cultural foundations that later filmmakers would build upon. His contribution marked a defining moment in the transition from stage traditions to cinematic storytelling for Nepali audiences. Though historical documentation remains limited, Pariyar’s role as director, scriptwriter, and story creator positions him as one of the earliest architects of Nepali film history  

Madhusudan Bhattarai (also credited as Madhu Sudan Bhattarai) is a Nepali film director, story writer, and chief assistant director active in the industry since the early 2000s. Known for his grounded storytelling and command over commercial drama, he has directed feature films such as Black Night (2013), Blackmail (2012), Nirbhay (2017), Destination Kathmandu (2018), and the upcoming Hami Teen Bhai (2026), where he also serves as the story writer.Beginning his career as a chief assistant director and assistant director, Bhattarai contributed to projects like Pahuna (2003), Daiko Sasurali (2010), Gorkha Rakshyak (2008), and Pratikaar (2013) before transitioning into full directorial leadership. His early technical roles—including work as chief assistant editor on Kathmandu (2010)—helped shape his precise visual and narrative style.

Deepak Prasad Acharya is a prominent Nepali film and television artist whose career spans acting, writing, and direction. He first became widely recognized through the hit Nepali sitcom Sakkigoni, where he played the beloved character “Kaku”, establishing himself as a natural comic actor with strong emotional range. Building on his television success, Acharya transitioned into filmmaking, writing stories rooted in Nepali family life, social values, and emotional realism. His breakthrough as a filmmaker came with Paran (2025) a social‑drama film that marked his directorial debut, written by him and produced under Biscope Cinema. Alongside direction, he has contributed as a lyricist, co‑writing songs such as Oye Bhanda Ni Bolena and Khyal Gari Sachaula for Paran.

Binod Manandhar is a Nepali film actor and producer known for his steady contributions to both commercial and romantic Nepali cinema. Active since the early 1990s, he has worked across acting, production, executive production, and audiography, shaping several notable films over three decades. He produced the hit romantic drama Dhukdhuki (2000) and later co‑produced Bagan (2023), while also appearing as an actor in films such as Janma Janma (1994) and Gunyu Cholo (1997). Recognized for his versatility and long-term industry presence, he remains a respected figure in Nepali filmmaking.
