Dirgha Gurung

Binod Pradhan is an acclaimed Nepali cinematographer whose visual mastery spans both Nepali and Indian cinema. He began his career in Nepal with films such as Saino, Basudev, and other early Nepali classics, where his naturalistic lighting and emotional framing first gained attention. Pradhan later became one of Bollywood’s most celebrated cinematographers, shaping landmark films including Rang De Basanti, Devdas, Parinda, Mission Kashmir, 1942: A Love Story, and Bhag Milkha Bhag. His poetic realism, technical precision, and storytelling depth have made him one of South Asia’s most influential visual artists.

Shambhu Sapkota is a Nepali cinematographer from Panauti, active in Nepali cinema since 1994, known for his extensive body of work across commercial and dramatic films. He has shot more than 50 feature films, contributing to the visual style of late‑1990s and 2000s Kollywood. His early credit includes Sadak (1994), and he continued through major titles such as Thuldai (1999), A Mero Hajur (2002), Kismat (2007), Ma Timi Bina Marihalchu (2008), and Rhythm (2013). His career reflects consistency, technical reliability, and long‑term collaboration with leading directors of the era.

Hari Humagain is a renowned Nepali cinematographer and director. He has made a significant impact in the Nepali film industry with his exceptional skills and dedication. Hari started his career in the film industry with humble beginnings, working as a kitchen help before gradually making his way up to become one of the busiest cinematographers in Kathmandu. Hari Humagain has worked on various projects, including music videos, movies, and TV shows. Some of his notable works include the musical love story "Euta Sapana Chha" and his appearance on the popular Nepali satirical comedy show "What The Flop"

Bidur Pandey is a self-taught director of photography who has made critically acclaimed movies and more than 1,500 music videos. The prolific artist has done it all—commercials, documentaries and feature films; but his litmus test came in the form of Kagbeni, the first film in South Asia to be shot in digital camera. The movie went on to set benchmarks in the Nepali film industry.
