His upcoming work includes the 2026 release Pariwartan, where he serves as Director of Photography. Dhakal received the National Film Award (2080) for Best Cinematography, underscoring his long‑standing contribution to Nepali visual storytelling.

Purushottam Pradhan is a well known cinematographer with more than 200 Nepali movies credit. He is from the beautiful Himalayan country of Kathmandu Nepal. Currently he lives in Kathmandu Nepal.He was born in 27th June. He won National Nepali Film Award in 2016.
