KATHMANDU: Buddha, Me and Nepal has planned to construct statues of Buddha of 100 feet and established Buddha Sikshyala in all 75 districts. Sindhupalchowk – which is one of the badly affected areas in the Gorkha earthquake – is one of the places where a 100-feet-statue of Buddha will be constructed along with Sikshyala. And to make this dream come true, Buddha, Me and Nepal is organizing a cultural programme – ‘Mero Buddha – Mero Nepal Manoranjan Sanjh’.
The programme will be held at Nepal Academy on Shrawan 14. It will be a fun event where actors, singers, models and comedians will come together to entertain people. Humour and music will be catered to provide entertainment to the audience.
Famous faces will be on the stage for the programme. Comedians Kiran KC, Shiva Hari Poudel, Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Manoj Acharya, Sabita Gurung, Surendra KC and Siva Shankar Rijal will tickle your funny bone while singers like Rajesh Payal Rai, Milan Amatya, Komal Oli among others will make you dance to their songs. Actors like Shushil Chhetri, Jenny Kunwar and Wilson Bikram Rai will also be there at the programme.
The event will start at 5:00 pm and the organizer requests everyone to be a part of it.
