Born to a musical family, it might have been expected of Shreya Sotang to become a singer like both her parents, however, it never came to her as she was growing up in the family. It happened after she completed her plus two levels. It had just come as a thought and she shared it with her parents Uday and Manila Sotang who helped her and supported her to bring out her own album. Although she used to listen to her parents’ songs while she was growing up, she never thought she would be recording a song of her own but she did and today we have a complete family of singers. To be a part of Uday and Manila’s family and to carry the legacy is definitely a tough job. But with determination, there could be nothing impossible and although she has an influential background when it comes to music, she tries not to use it but achieve her goals on her own. Uday and Manila Sotang are one of the most popular singer duos in Nepal and after the entry of Shreya Sotang in the music scenario, they have a complete family of singers.

Prechya Bajracharya famously known as Pari is a YouTube sensation who started her YouTube channel in 2012 to share her creativity. Pari rose to fame in 2013 when she took part in the Raw Barz Rap Battle. This multi-talented YouTube sensation was able to secure a role in the movie Jatra which released in 2016, which not only brought her to limelight but also established her as a talented contender in both the music and film industry of Nepal.

Kumar Kanchha is a legendary Nepali playback singer, composer, and actor, known for his soulful voice and contributions to both music and cinema. Born on 28th Mangsir 2014 B.S. in Kolkata, India, he rose to fame with timeless hits like “Jindagi Ko Ke Bhara Cha Ra,” “Amaile Bhanthin,” and “Batasale Udai Lyayo.” His album Goreto and songs like “Naina Resham” remain Nepali folk-pop classics. In addition to his musical legacy, Kumar Kanchha also made a mark as an actor. He appeared in the iconic film Saino (directed by Ugyen Chopel), where his song “Kalko Pani Rakshi Ganayo” became a cultural phenomenon. He also acted in films like Lahure and Koshili, contributing both as a performer and playback singer.
