Reshraj Acharya was a respected Nepali film director known for his emotional storytelling and strong command of family and social‑themed cinema. He began his directorial journey with the film Tilhari and went on to direct notable works such as Tuhuro, Mato Bolchha, Bandhan, Aama, Man Muttu Ra Maya, Mayako Saino, Bhagyale Jurayo, Nagad Narayan, and Dharmasankat. His final directorial project was Preetiko Phool. Acharya also directed television serials including Dushman and Aama, and served as assistant director on films like Sapana, Sampatti, and Mayalu. He passed away on Falgun 5, 2078 B.S., at the age of 64.

Suresh Darpan Pokharel (born 5 November 1983, Chhoprak, Gorkha) is a Nepali film director, media personality, and digital entrepreneur active since 2002. He made his directorial debut with Nishana and went on to direct several commercial Nepali films including Bhool Bhaye Maaf Gara, Kaslai Diun Yo Joban, Miss U, 3 Lovers, and Love Birds.Before entering filmmaking, he worked in Nepali radio as an RJ at Radio Lumbini, Synergy FM, and Nepal FM, later becoming a well‑known VJ and program producer at Nepal Television, Kantipur Television, and Channel Nepal. His media career includes directing over 100+ music videos, documentaries, and TV commercials.He currently resides in the Dallas–Fort Worth, USA, serving as Chairman of Maya Digital and hosting the popular diaspora podcast Namaste USA on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube. He also runs THE SDP TIMES, a Nepali community digital channel.His contributions to Nepali cinema earned him appointments to the Central Film Censor Board and the Film Development Board of Nepal, and he has served as Secretary of the Directors Guild of Nepal and Nepal Film Producers Association (NFPA). He is also recognized for social work as President of We For All, receiving a Contribution Award from the Prime Minister of Nepal (2015) for earthquake relief efforts.
