Ganga Rana was one of Nepal’s most influential voices in adhunik (modern) music, celebrated for her effortless singing style and her rare ability to perform both modern and folk songs with equal mastery. Her patriotic songs, emotional depth, and artistic versatility made her a defining figure in Nepal’s musical history. She was not only a singer but also a composer and lyricist, contributing significantly to the creative evolution of Nepali music.Born on Poush 9, 1996 BS in Rumjatar, Okhaldhunga, to Champa Singh Gurung and Chandra Devi Gurung Rana, she moved to Kathmandu at a young age with her elder sister and brother‑in‑law to pursue her education. However, her passion for music soon took precedence. While studying at Gaushala Adhar School, Chabahil, she actively participated in singing, dancing, and acting—laying the foundation for her artistic journey.Ganga Rana recorded her first song at Radio Nepal at age 14, and by 2010 BS, she was working there professionally. Her breakthrough moment came during the coronation of King Mahendra, where her performance captivated the entire audience. Anil Shahi, a music director and fusion guitarist, was born in Bhurungkhel, Kathmandu, Nepal. During his childhood days, Anil used to play percussions and flute in social gatherings and occasions. Om Bahadur Sunar, popularly known as Om Sunar, is a distinguished Nepali playback singer, composer, and music producer renowned for his contributions to Nepali folk and classical music. Born on March 16, 1987, in Surkhet, Nepal, he has been a prominent figure in the Nepali music industry since 2009. Early Life and Education Om Sunar hails from a middle-class family in Surkhet, Nepal. He pursued his passion for music academically, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Tribhuvan University. He is currently advancing his studies with a master's degree in music at the same institution. Musical Career Om Sunar's musical journey commenced with his debut song "Maga Maga Timi K Magchhau Dinchhu Timi Lai Je Magchhau," featured in his first album "Sugandha." Over the years, he has recorded more than 250 songs in both Nepali and Hindi languages. His notable tracks include "Sapne Jo Maine," "Supari Kancho," "Aamaile Bhanthe," "Chandrama Jhai Ramri," "Bariko Patama," "Lahure Sipahi Dai," "Darling," "Adhuro Chhu Ma Timi Bina," and "Buddha Born In Nepal.
