Sunil Singh Thakuri's passion for music ignited during his school years, where he began by mimicking popular singers. Encouraged by friends and family who recognized his vocal talent, he transitioned from casual performances to a professional music career. His debut song, "Mutuma Timilai", marked the beginning of his journey as a recording artist. This track laid the foundation for his first solo album, "Crazy Hat", released in 2007. The album featured a mix of love and emotional songs, with "Bhuli Bhuli Deu" earning a nomination for Best New Artist at the 10th Annual Tuborg Image Awards. Building on this success, Sunil released his second album, "Crazy Hat 2 – Ghatana Ghatyo", in 2008. The title track, "Ghatana Ghatyo", became a significant hit, showcasing his versatility and deepening his presence in the Nepali music scene. The song's popularity was bolstered by its engaging music video, which resonated with audiences nationwide. In recent years, Sunil has continued to evolve as an artist, releasing several singles that reflect his growth and adaptability. Notable among these are: "Sustari" "Baby Sunana" "Ghanta Jasto Love" "Nagoya Song" These tracks demonstrate his ability to blend traditional Nepali musical elements with contemporary styles, appealing to a broad audience.

Dalbahadur (Surname Unknown)Singer/ComposerDalbahadur is considered one of the early contributors to Nepali modern jhyaure and folk‑based recordings, active since around BS 1965 (AD 1908/1909). Archival research shows that he recorded 2 songs in BS 1970 (AD 1913/1914). The song titles and further personal details remain unavailable, but his role in the early recording era is historically significant.

Kalyan Singh is a Nepali composer and songwriter. His works include Santosh Lama‘s ‘Batuwa’, Hemanta Rana‘s ‘Raat Ki Raani’ and ‘Muskaan’, and Nima Rumba’s ‘Jaadu’, among others. He has also directed music for films — ‘Visa Girl’, ‘Mukhauta’ and ‘Hasiya’. With the knack of composing different styles of music, he is one of the capable composers of Nepali industry. Musical roots Singh was born on March 2, 1983. He was born into a musical family. His father, Bhagat Singh was an instrumentalist who worked at Radio Nepal and it was him who taught him music. He started learning music with the harmonium. By the age of seven, he had learnt the violin. Even though he learned and played music in the next several years, he had not planned to pursue music professionally. On the other hand, nobody in his family thought that he would be in the music filed. Turning point After completing his Bachelors level of education in 2002/3, Singh wanted to go to Australia for his further studies. But he was turned down and so he picked up music instead. With the help of his brother, renowned music director Raju Singh, he debuted as a singer with his first album titled ‘Fly’ in 2005/6. Singh had written and composed five songs out of seven tracks for ‘Fly’. However, ‘Fly’ didn’t go well. And so, he chose to become a composer. Moreover, an incident took place at one of the FM stations during the promotion of ‘Fly’. The ‘hurting’ episode made him determined to become a composer as he felt, “I won’t come to this FM station but my music will.” If that incident hadn’t taken place in his life, he wouldn’t have worked hard and become a composer. His willpower to become a composer was further supported and encouraged by photographer, cover designer, Lyricist Anil Sthapit.  

Shree K.C. is a promising young Dhrupad singer from Nepal, known for his deep, meditative vocal style rooted in the ancient Hindustani classical tradition. Recognized by the Society of Classical Music Nepal, he has been featured in curated sessions that spotlight emerging voices in classical music. His performances are marked by spiritual intensity, precise intonation, and a profound understanding of raga structure. Shree K.C. is part of a new generation of Nepali classical musicians who are reviving interest in Dhrupad—a genre known for its devotional and introspective qualities. He often performs in intimate baithak-style concerts and educational forums, helping to bridge traditional music with contemporary audiences. His dedication to vocal purity and disciplined practice reflects the guru-shishya parampara (teacher-disciple tradition), and he continues to grow as both a performer and cultural ambassador for Nepal’s classical heritage.
