Sarita Giri is a prominent Nepali theatre actor and film artist known for her powerful performances and strong foundation in stage acting. She began her artistic journey shortly after completing her School Leaving Certificate (SLC), initially entering theatre without prior intention but later continuing due to overwhelming audience appreciation for her early performances.A trained theatre professional, Sarita Giri holds a diploma in theatre studies from Gurukul and has participated in various national and international workshops, including Alternative Theatre in India, Physical Theatre in New York, and Puppet Theatre in the Philippines. Her dedication to the craft has established her as one of the refined performers emerging from Nepal’s theatre movement.Transitioning from stage to screen, she has played significant roles in Nepali cinema, appearing in films such as Machha Machha (2019), Aama (2020), Kagaz Patra, Lappan Chhappan 2 (2020), Changa Chet, Sungava, and Red Monsoon. Her performance in Gurudakshina earned her the Best Actress award at the Dcine Awards, highlighting her versatility across both theatre and film mediums.Recognized as one of the finest theatre artists in Nepal, Giri has consistently emphasized the importance of theatre as a strong foundation for acting. She has actively participated in discussions and festivals, advocating for the growth of theatre and cinema in Nepal while continuing to contribute to both mediums with impactful roles.

Gopal Bhutani (born Gopal Tamang, 1932 – November 23, 2010) was a pioneering Nepali art director, actor, and action choreographer who shaped the visual language of Nepali cinema. Born in Fikkal, Ilam, he began his film journey in Bollywood in the 1940s before returning to Nepal, where he introduced action direction to a melodrama-dominated industry. Despite his immense contributions, he struggled to obtain Nepali citizenship due to the “Bhutani” surname. Bhutani worked on over 70 films, including Balidaan, Aago, Shankar, Mamaghar, Shiris Ko Phool, and Jeevan Sangharsha. He passed away at age 78 from stomach cancer. His legacy remains foundational in Nepali film aesthetics and action choreography.

Keshav Sapkota is a Nepali actor active since the early 2000s, beginning his career through music videos and television serials before establishing himself as a comedian‑TV artist and later expanding into acting and direction. Known for his versatile presence across drama, comedy, and character roles, he has built a long career in Nepali entertainment through consistent work in serials, stage‑influenced comedy, and screen acting. In recent years, he has also taken on directorial responsibilities, shaping projects both in front of and behind the camera.
