Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar obtained her bachelor's degree in film directing and screenwriting from the College of Film Studies in BS 2064.Samjhana Upreti Rauniyar had experience as an assistant director in the feature films 'Bir Ganeshman', 'Man Mandir', 'Siwandko Sindoor', and 'Mamaghar' from 2000 to 2002. She also served as the 'Costume Coordinator' for the film 'Bir Ganeshman'.Rauniyar was the event coordinator for the film awards ceremony organized by the Nepali Film Technicians Association in 2008 and 2011 and the awards organized by the Nepal Advertising Association in 2008 and 2010. She was also the event manager for the 'Business Excellence Awards' and 'Call Competition' ceremonies organized by Boss and Bhapatrika from 2004 to 2008. She also worked as a 'Marketing Executive' for 'Divya Drishti' Television (2001 to 2001), 'Marketing Personnel and Production' for 200 Channels Pvt. Ltd.
