Neer Bikram Shah, also known as Nir Shah, is a Nepalese movie actor, a poet, lyricist, movie director,media personality and businessman. He is related to the Royal family of Nepal. Neer Shah is the producer or co-producer of many Nepali movies. He has also directed several Nepali movies produced by himself, including Basudev, Pachchis Basanta, Basanti, and a Nepal Bhasa movie Rajamati. He is also a co-producer of the Oscar nominated film Himalaya – l’enfance d’un chef, which was co-produced and directed by the French movie maker Eric Valli. The film, also released as Caravan (in Canada) and Himalaya (in Denmark and France), was the first film from Nepal to win an Oscar nomination.

Suraj Singh Thakuri is one of Nepal’s most recognized media personalities, celebrated for his long career as a television host, producer, and music video director. Active since the early 2000s, he became a household name through Image Channel’s “Call Kantipur”, where his charismatic hosting style and natural on‑screen presence shaped a new era of Nepali youth television.Over the years, Suraj has produced and hosted multiple high‑impact shows, including “It’s My Show with Suraj Singh Thakuri” on Kantipur TV HD — a flagship celebrity talk show known for its high production value, humor, and emotional storytelling. His work has consistently blended entertainment, journalism, and personality‑driven content, making him one of Nepal’s most influential TV figures.Beyond television, Suraj Singh Thakuri is also a music video director, credited with directing several popular Nepali music videos during the rise of modern Nepali pop and sentimental music. His direction is known for clean visual storytelling, emotional framing, and youth‑centric aesthetics.

Prakash Sayami (born 21 March 1965) is a Nepali film director, writer, producer, and one of the country’s most respected media personalities. Known for his independent filmmaking spirit, Sayami has directed six feature‑length films, including Prithvi (1994), Simana (1997), Avtaar (2002), Zameen (2005), Rani Khola (2008), and Hatiyar (2010). Among them, Simana remains his most celebrated and widely recognized work.Beyond cinema, Sayami is a passionate writer and an avid collector of books, maintaining a personal library filled with English, Hindi, and Nepali literature. He is the author of Barshadi Dinharu and has written extensively on filmmaking, along with publishing poems, essays, plays, songs, and biographies. A multilingual creator, he writes in Newari, Hindi, English, and Nepali.Sayami studied filmmaking in Bombay and began his career in 1986 as an assistant director and scriptwriter for commercial Nepali films. He made his directorial debut in 1993, marking the beginning of a long and influential journey in Nepali cinema.He has represented Nepal in several international events, including the WIPO Asia‑Pacific Regional Symposium, and in 2008, he was elected Vice‑President of the Music Royalty Society of Nepal, working to protect musicians’ copyrights nationally and internationally.A respected film critic, media guru, and music promoter, Sayami has managed FM stations across Nepal and conceptualized popular television programs. He is currently associated with Ujyaalo 90 Network, contributing to the program Ajar Amar Geetharu.

He started his career as a producer and presenter on Nepal Television from 1997 to 2003. From 2003 to 2013, he was the Chief Program Producer at Kantipur Television. He has contributed to hundreds of television programs, documentary directing and script writing.
