Tilak Singh Pela is a revered name in Nepali classical and modern music, known for his soulful voice, deep-rooted classical training, and dedication to nurturing future generations of musicians. Born in Dashrathchand Municipality, Baitadi, in the Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal, Pela has spent over two decades enriching the Nepali music scene with his artistry and mentorship. Classical Music Journey Studied Indian classical music at Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India. Trained under Guru Debashish Dev and Pandit Dhana Bahadur Gopali. Founded Shree Krishna Gurukul Sangeet Pathshala in Banasthali, Kathmandu. As a music instructor and founder, he has mentored numerous young talents who now contribute actively to Nepali music. Highlights Over 20 years of contribution to Nepali classical and modern music. Established a music school (SKG) that has become a nurturing ground for emerging artists.

Laboni Chakraborty is a talented Nepali classical singer originally from Kolkata, India. She has made a significant impact on Nepal’s contemporary classical music scene, captivating audiences with her soulful renditions. She is also a judge on the Mero Voice Universe talent show.  Early Life & Education Laboni Chakraborty grew up in a musical family, where her father and relatives were singers. She began learning music at the age of five under the guidance of Baishali Juardhar. Later, she trained under Ajoy Chakrabarty, a renowned Hindustani classical vocalist, for ten years. She pursued her academic degree in music at Rabindra Bharati University, where she was a gold medalist in her master’s program. Career & Contributions Despite her strong musical foundation in India, Laboni Chakraborty chose to work in Nepal, where she has become one of the most respected classical singers. She teaches music at Lalit Kala Campus, Tribhuvan University, and runs her own music school, Raagrup, where she mentors aspiring musicians. She has performed in various prestigious events, including the Yalamaya Classic, where her rendition of Vilambit and Madhya Khayal in Raag Todi received a standing ovation. Sushant Ghimire is a rising Nepali singer-songwriter known for his introspective lyrics and soulful melodies. Despite initially pursuing engineering and working full-time at a construction company, his love for music led him to perform cover songs and original compositions at bars in Kathmandu, often juggling gigs with his day job. Prechya Bajracharya famously known as Pari is a YouTube sensation who started her YouTube channel in 2012 to share her creativity. Pari rose to fame in 2013 when she took part in the Raw Barz Rap Battle. This multi-talented YouTube sensation was able to secure a role in the movie Jatra which released in 2016, which not only brought her to limelight but also established her as a talented contender in both the music and film industry of Nepal.
