Prakash Sayami (born 21 March 1965) is a Nepali film director, writer, producer, and one of the country’s most respected media personalities. Known for his independent filmmaking spirit, Sayami has directed six feature‑length films, including Prithvi (1994), Simana (1997), Avtaar (2002), Zameen (2005), Rani Khola (2008), and Hatiyar (2010). Among them, Simana remains his most celebrated and widely recognized work.Beyond cinema, Sayami is a passionate writer and an avid collector of books, maintaining a personal library filled with English, Hindi, and Nepali literature. He is the author of Barshadi Dinharu and has written extensively on filmmaking, along with publishing poems, essays, plays, songs, and biographies. A multilingual creator, he writes in Newari, Hindi, English, and Nepali.Sayami studied filmmaking in Bombay and began his career in 1986 as an assistant director and scriptwriter for commercial Nepali films. He made his directorial debut in 1993, marking the beginning of a long and influential journey in Nepali cinema.He has represented Nepal in several international events, including the WIPO Asia‑Pacific Regional Symposium, and in 2008, he was elected Vice‑President of the Music Royalty Society of Nepal, working to protect musicians’ copyrights nationally and internationally.A respected film critic, media guru, and music promoter, Sayami has managed FM stations across Nepal and conceptualized popular television programs. He is currently associated with Ujyaalo 90 Network, contributing to the program Ajar Amar Geetharu.

Deepak Prasad Acharya is a prominent Nepali film and television artist whose career spans acting, writing, and direction. He first became widely recognized through the hit Nepali sitcom Sakkigoni, where he played the beloved character “Kaku”, establishing himself as a natural comic actor with strong emotional range. Building on his television success, Acharya transitioned into filmmaking, writing stories rooted in Nepali family life, social values, and emotional realism. His breakthrough as a filmmaker came with Paran (2025) a social‑drama film that marked his directorial debut, written by him and produced under Biscope Cinema. Alongside direction, he has contributed as a lyricist, co‑writing songs such as Oye Bhanda Ni Bolena and Khyal Gari Sachaula for Paran.

Rishi Raj Acharya is one of Nepal’s most respected film directors, known for blending social realism, cultural depth, and emotional storytelling in modern Nepali cinema. Born on September 14, 1978, in Tulsipur, Dang, he has shaped a distinct directorial identity by treating cinema not just as entertainment but as a medium of social awareness, cultural preservation, and personal expression.Acharya’s filmmaking journey is rooted in his academic background—he holds a Master’s degree in Sociology, which deeply influences his narrative style. His films often explore themes of migration, rural life, tradition, identity, and the changing social fabric of Nepal.He is also actively involved in the Nepali film community as a member of the Film Directors’ Guild of Nepal and the Film Artist Workers’ Organization of Nepal (FAWON).

Mahendra Budhathoki is a Nepali film actor and director active in the Nepali film industry for several years, recognized for his contributions to commercial films, supporting roles, and character portrayals. He has worked both in front of and behind the camera, gradually establishing himself as a dependable performer and a filmmaker with a grounded approach to storytelling.
