The movie follows the tragic life of a young woman named Mala (played by Priyanka Karki) who lives in a rural village in Nepal. Trapped in an abusive environment, she suffers severe emotional and physical torture from both her husband and the conservative local society. Overwhelmed by helplessness and misery, she is ultimately driven to take her own life.Death, however, does not bring her peace. Mala’s vengeful spirit returns to haunt and exact bloody retribution against the villagers and family members who wronged her.The narrative takes a psychological turn when an atheist doctor (played by Aryan Sigdel) living in the city starts experiencing horrific, unexplainable hauntings by Mala's ghost. What confounds the doctor is that he has absolutely no tie to the village, has never met Mala, and strictly disbelieves in the supernatural. Plagued by these terrifying visions, he is forced to investigate her past, setting off a journey into the rural heartland to uncover why a dead woman's spirit is tied to his destiny.
