Jerusha Rai is a Nepali indie singer-songwriter and music producer known for her experimental fusion of traditional Nepali folk sounds with contemporary pop, rock, and electronic influences. Born in Kathmandu, she attended St. Mary’s Secondary School and was immersed in Nepali folk music and instruments. Rai relocated to London for university studies and became involved with the Nepali diaspora music scene. Her self-released EP “We All Make Mistapes” gained attention, and her debut album “A Dark Place to Think” (2016) showcased her evocative songwriting. Her second album, “Sunsaan” (2019), explored Nepal’s political turmoil and mental health issues. Rai celebrates her indigenous Kiranti roots and uses music as a medium of healing. In 2023, she mysteriously disappeared after leaving her Kathmandu home without her phone, shocking Nepal’s music scene where she had been praised as a pioneering female indie artist and powerful creative voice. 🎵🌟

Tenzin Dhundup, a.k.a. Sonam Topden, a well-known young Tibetan singer, songwriter and composer, is originally from India Manali and is based in Nepal. He gained popularity by singing cover songs in different languages like Tibetan, Hindi, Nepali and English via Facebook, YouTube, Instagram and other social media platforms. He is also known as the first Tibetan heartthrob among Tibetans. In 2016, he released his first official music video, "Palkyi la," which was self-written and debuted his acting talents. It was a huge hit and loved by many around the world. His second record-breaking hit song, "Kunsel," with Tibetan female singer Tenzin Kunsel, was also self-written and has gained over a million views. His third song, "Ta Serpo," was released in November 2016. In may 2017, he composed a Nepali music video, "Timi Mero Bhavisha." Sonam Topden took the first stage in front of an audience of thousands during the Tibetan Losar in Bylakupee, India, along with Bollywood dancing star Raghav Juyal and MJ. After that successful concert, he performed at numerous live concerts around India, Nepal and Switzerland. Sonam Topden has a huge interest in charity events. He performed for many charitable shows, such as Srongtsen Annual Charity event in Nepal, Chenrezig School back-to-back charity event in Delhi, Dehradun, and a pilgrimage organized by Drokpo in Nepal. (Albums) Sonam Topden's first album, Norbu Shug Yoe, was launched in Bodh Gaya during Kalachakra Puja in 2017.

Milan Newar is Nepal’s most well Known Singer. Except Nepali she has sung India’s all the major north eastern languages (Assames, Bodo, Mishing) beside Rajsthani as well. Childhood Milan Newar was born on January 25, 1986 in Nunaikhuti (Mother Mrs. Ambika Newar & Father Shree Ganesh Newar ), Goriajhar Assam, in to a Nepali Household. Inspiration & Training in Music Her exposure to music began in infancy. Milan’s musical studies were not limited to herning her father and mothersing. She also studied under her Aunty Dukuna Newar and Accuired in good background in folk music and was trained by shree Badri Vyas in Rajasthani Folk Music. Early Carrer & Acheivements After coming to Guwahati , She Joined Production company “Surganga” Which has date released 40 Albums of Rajasthani folk songs, 10 asamese, 4 Bodo Albums & 10 Nepali Albums. 2003, proved to be a very crucial year in her life. This year on 30th October, she participated in all India musical competation prganaize by surganga. The programme was based on Assames and Rajasthani Folk songs and the pragramme was judged by Famous Musical Maestro of Bollywood late Naushad Ali and Famous Gazal Singer Pinaz Masani accompained by famous classical singer Shushila Rani Patel. Milan was the 1st runner up on this show and after this there was no looking back. After this competation she dedicated to lounch her own album of folk songs and her musical catrrer begain to flourish.
