His father, Dimdung Dheeren, works abroad and visits the family once every 2-3 years. Samarpan’s mother, a homemaker, resides in Pune. He has a brother named Sudhir Lama. Dancing Passion: Samarpan’s journey as a dancer began in 2020, without any formal training. He followed international dancers on YouTube to learn and hone his skills. In 2021, he auditioned for the Nepali TV channel OSR Reality and participated in the TV show Dance Champion. India’s Best Dancer Season 3: In 2023, Samarpan auditioned for India’s Best Dancer Season 3. Initially rejected in the digital audition round, he later received a call to showcase his live performance in Mumbai. His journey was not about winning; he aimed to learn and enjoy the process. However, destiny had other plans. In the grand finale, on 30 September 2023, Samarpan was declared the winner of the show. Reflecting on his victory, he expressed gratitude for the platform and the impact it had on his growth as a dancer. Raju Shah

Raju Shah (born 26 February 1965) is one of Nepal’s most influential dance choreographers, with a career spanning over three decades and more than 200 films. Beginning as a dancer in Badalindo Aakash (1982), he became a leading choreographer from Dui Thopa Aansu (1993) and later expanded into film direction and production. He has directed feature films including Sapana Ko Naulo Sansar and Namaste Nepal—one of the first Nepali films shot entirely in Europe. Shah is also the founder chairman of the Nepal Film Dance Association and remains a defining figure in Nepali film choreography and visual storytelling.
