Chhetri gained significant recognition for his role in the 2022 Nepali drama film "Mahapurush," written and directed by Pradip Bhattarai. In this film, he shared the screen with renowned actors Madan Krishna Shrestha and Hari Bansha Acharya, collectively known as Maha Jodi, as well as Gauri Malla, Rabindra Singh Baniya, Rajaram Paudel, and Anjana Baraili.
