Basundhara Bhusal is a celebrated Nepali actress whose career spans more than five decades, making her one of the most enduring figures in Nepali cinema. Melina Manandhar is a prominent Nepalese actress, producer, and model. Born on January 23, 1975, in Kathmandu, Nepal, she has been active in the entertainment industry since 1993. She has appeared in over 60 films and television dramas in both Nepali and Newar languages. Some of her notable works include the classic Nepali film Prem Pinda (1995) and the Newari film Balamaiju, for which she won the National Film Award in 2010. In addition to acting, she has produced films like Jwalamukhi and a television show titled Karuna. Melina is married to actor Mukesh Dhakal, and they have a daughter named Melishka Dhakal. Currently, she resides in the United States with her family
