Mukunda Mainali is a Nepali film and television actor known for his strong presence in social‑themed TV serials and his consistent contribution to Nepali screen acting. He is widely recognized for his role in the popular social serial “Juthe”, where he appears as one of the principal cast members alongside Rabi Giri, Bidhya Karki, Rambabu Regmi, Sarmila Sharma, and others.Mainali’s work in Juthe-a serial centered on the Dalit emancipation movement and social justice has made him a familiar face in contemporary Nepali television. The series airs on Himalaya Television and is directed by Raju Poudel and Marichman Shrestha.He is also credited as part of the cast of the iconic Nepali sitcom “Tito Satya”, one of Nepal’s longest‑running and most‑watched comedy‑drama series. The show featured a large ensemble cast, including Deepak Raj Giri, Deepa Shree Niraula, Gopal Dhakal, Prem Pandey, and others, with Mukunda Mainali listed among the recurring actors.

Govinda Sunar is a Nepali film artist and actor known for his growing presence in contemporary Nepali cinema. He has appeared in several notable films, portraying grounded, character‑driven roles that reflect everyday Nepali life and social realities. His performances in Prakash (2022), The Shameless (2024), and Modibeni Gopi (2024) have established him as a subtle yet impactful screen presence.In addition to acting, Govinda has contributed to the Nepali film industry through casting work, serving as a casting assistant and casting director for films such as The Shameless (2024) and Mirai (2025).He is also part of the ensemble cast of the upcoming Nepali feature film Lalibazar (2026), directed by Yam Thapa, further expanding his footprint in mainstream cinema.

Shiva Shankar Manandhar (1932–2004) was a legendary figure in Nepali music and cinema, celebrated for his versatility as a singer, composer, and actor. Born in Newroad, Kathmandu, to a musically inclined Newar family, his early exposure to classical Newari songs through his father, Man Bahadur, laid the foundation for his lifelong devotion to music. He joined Radio Nepal in 1951, where he collaborated with Nati Kaji to shape the golden era of Nepali music. Over his prolific career, he composed around 1,200 songs and sang nearly 300, spanning genres like love ballads, bhajans, patriotic anthems, and tragic melodies. His compositions for artists such as Narayan Gopal, Tara Devi, and Aruna Lama remain timeless. 🎬 In cinema, Shiva Shankar played the lead role of Lahure Dai in Aama (1964), Nepal’s first feature film. Renowned for intense negative and supporting roles, he appeared in notable films such as Seemana, White Sun, Rajja Rani, Bulbul, and Halkara. His performances were marked by emotional depth, physical precision, and a strong command of screen realism.
