Rimal was also a prominent stage actor and later transitioned into film, appearing in early Nepali classics such as Aama (1964). Ashma Kumari KC is the dazzling Miss Nepal World 2024, crowned at the 28th edition of the Miss Nepal pageant held at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Center. Born and raised in Kathmandu, she holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Work and is also an entrepreneur. Her winning answer in the final round addressed climate change, where she emphasized that although Nepal contributes only 0.027% to global CO₂ emissions, it faces severe consequences. Ashma also earned the Face of the Year title, highlighting her standout presence among 26 semifinalists. She will represent Nepal at the 73rd Miss World competition, carrying forward her message of environmental responsibility and social impact.
