Ustad Anand – Classical VocalistA prominent classical musician of BS 1985 (AD 1928/1929), Ustad Anand has 2 gramophone recordings from BS 1989 (AD 1932/1933) preserved in researcher archives. He participated in various school competitions and gained early recognition. His breakthrough came when he won Image F.M. Sur Sangam in his Grade 10. He also participated in Timro Sur Mero Geet, reaching the quarterfinals. His musical journey led him to Doremie Music School, where he honed his skills with a 1-year Tabla course and a 3-year singing course. Santosh's big break came when he won Nepali Tara 2. This victory was a turning point in his career, and it was during this time that he recorded his first song, "Bani Parecha." Since then, he has recorded over 200 songs for various albums, films, and collections, becoming a household name in the Nepali music industry.
