Kali Prasad Rijal is a celebrated Nepali lyricist and poet. His works are deeply admired for their poetic essence and emotional depth. Some of his classic songs, such as Kehi Mitho Baat Gara, Aankha Chopi Narou Bhani, and Jhareko Paat Jhai, were performed and composed by the legendary Narayan Gopal. Recently, Rijal collaborated with musician Aavaas for the Paleti music series, where Aavaas presented compositions and vocals for Rijal's new lyrics. Additionally, Rijal launched his new book, Kehi Mitho Baat Gara, which features 20 poems and 68 songs, along with staff notations for 10 of his songs to assist musicians. Rijal's contributions to Nepali music and literature have earned him numerous accolades, including awards from the Nepal Academy. His work continues to inspire and resonate with audiences across generations.

Gagan Birahi was a prominent Nepali film producer, director, writer, and lyricist, known for his versatile contributions to Nepali cinema and literature. Active from the early 1990s, he worked across filmmaking, screenwriting, and songwriting, earning recognition as a multi‑talented creative figure in the industry.He made his film debut with Sankalp (1993), followed by contributions to several notable films including Miteri Gaun and Badal. As a lyricist, he wrote songs for films such as Bhauju and Truck Driver, showcasing his poetic depth and narrative sensitivity.Gagan Birahi directed Miteri Gaun, the first Nepali feature film fully shot in Japan, marking a milestone in Nepali cinema’s international production history. Alongside filmmaking, he remained active in literature, writing poems, stories, and lyrics throughout his career.His final published work was the poetry collection “Hastakshar”, which he released from his hospital bed, demonstrating his lifelong dedication to writing even during his final days.Gagan Birahi passed away in October 2018 at the age of 61, leaving behind a respected legacy in both Nepali cinema and literature.

Dr. Naba Raj Lamsal is a Nepali poet, radio journalist, and government official. He was born on July 23, 1969, in Jyamrung, Dhading, Nepal. He has made significant contributions to Nepali literature and media, serving as the Director of Program Division at Radio Nepal and previously working as a correspondent for BBC Nepali Service. Career Highlights Dr. Lamsal began his poetry journey in 1984, publishing his first poem in Arunodaya newspaper. Madhav Prasad Ghimire was a celebrated Nepali poet and scholar, honored as the "Rashtrakavi" (National Poet) of Nepal. Born on September 23, 1919, in Lamjung, Nepal, he had a literary career spanning over eight decades. His works, such as Gauri, Malati Mangale, Shakuntala, and Himal Pari Himal Wari, are considered masterpieces of Nepali literature. Ghimire's poetry often explored themes of nature, romance, patriotism, and societal truths. He was inspired by the works of Rabindranath Tagore and contributed significantly to Nepali literature through epic poems, plays, essays, and songs. He also served as the Vice Chancellor and Chancellor of the Royal Nepal Academy. He passed away on August 18, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire generations.
