Pushpa Gurung's passion for music was evident from a young age. Initially shy about her aspirations, she began composing lyrics and melodies during her school years. Her formal training commenced at Doremi Music School, where she honed her vocal skills and deepened her understanding of music. Encouraged by positive feedback from friends and mentors, she embarked on her professional singing career. Her debut album, "Fate", released in 2010, featured seven tracks that showcased her versatility and emotional depth. The album received positive reviews, establishing her presence in the Nepali music scene. In 2013, Pushpa gained widespread recognition with the release of the single "Rog Ho Ki Yo Dosh Ho", composed by Kali Prasad Baskota. The song's poignant lyrics and her soulful rendition resonated with audiences, further solidifying her reputation as a talented vocalist. The accompanying music video, directed by Anil Sthapit, complemented the song's emotional tone. Beyond her solo projects, Pushpa has contributed to various film soundtracks and collaborative works. Notably, she lent her voice to the song "Jadoo" from the Nepali movie Manjari, a duet with Sanup Poudel. Mira Rana (also known as Meera Rana) is a renowned Nepali singer who has made significant contributions to the Nepali music industry. Born on September 24, 1951, she has sung over 1,600 songs in her 55-year musical career. Mira Rana is considered a part of "Nepal's first wave of recording stars," recording folk, classical, and even pop songs during the country's modernization after the fall of the Rana regime. She has collaborated with artists like Narayan Gopal, Gopal Yonjan, Kumar Basnet, Udit Narayan Jha, and Ram Thapa. In addition to her musical career, Mira Rana has also been involved in politics. She joined the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal in 2009 and contested for parliament from the Kathmandu-3 constituency in 2013. She was awarded the Narayan Gopal memorial prize in 2016, shared with Gyanu Rana, in recognition of her contribution to Nepali music.

Rajina Rimal, born on 3rd Jestha, 2049 BS in Dillibazar, Kathmandu, is a well-known Nepali singer recognized for her melodious voice and early entry into the music industry. Raised in a musically inclined family, Rajina was inspired by her father Robin Rimal and uncle Rajan Rimal, both active in Nepal’s music scene. She began singing on stage at just six years old, winning several school competitions. A lively and cheerful child, she studied at Galaxy School and later Surayadaya Boarding School. One of her fondest memories includes a trip to Hetauda, and a humorous school incident where she accidentally hit a microphone with her nose, leading to a nosebleed—something she never forgot. Her professional music journey started at age 12 when musician Samrat Thapa offered her the song "Basanta Ko," recorded at Ciney Sounds Studio. Though intended as a test, the song became popular, prompting the release of her debut album "Pari" two years later. It featured a blend of eastern and western styles, including the hit song "Ma Ramro Bhanda" directed by Alok Nembang and composed by Raju Singh. Rajina also trained in classical music under Sangeeta Rana and became a playback singer for films such as "Saput" and "Mr. Mangalay." Her recent works include "Timi Bina Bachu Kasari" from November Rain, and "Paani Ko Foka" composed by Hari Lamsal. She released a curated album titled "Best of Rajina Rimal." In 2015, she married Binod Shrestha. With over 300 songs and contributions to 50+ films, Rajina Rimal remains a celebrated name in Nepali music.
