Anil Kurmi is a Nepali film and theatre actor, story–script writer, and director known for his work in short films, independent cinema, and his appearance in the feature film The Shameless (2024). His creative portfolio spans acting, writing, and directing across Nepali, Tharu, Bhojpuri, and Hindi language projects, making him a versatile emerging voice in Nepal’s contemporary film landscape.

Simpal Khanal is a Nepali actress, model, and former VJ known for her charm and versatility in film, television, and fashion. She debuted in the film Majhi Dai and gained popularity through music videos, TV serials, and modeling campaigns. Simpal hosted shows like Hit Mix on Nepal Television and Bhabishya Darpan on Kantipur TV. She also appeared in advertisements and fashion shoots, becoming a recognizable face in the early 2010s. After marrying UK-based Nadeem Sarwar in 2016, she stepped away from the Nepali entertainment scene. Her filmography includes Majhi Dai and several short films and music videos

Shiva Shankar Manandhar (1932–2004) was a legendary figure in Nepali music and cinema, celebrated for his versatility as a singer, composer, and actor. Born in Newroad, Kathmandu, to a musically inclined Newar family, his early exposure to classical Newari songs through his father, Man Bahadur, laid the foundation for his lifelong devotion to music. He joined Radio Nepal in 1951, where he collaborated with Nati Kaji to shape the golden era of Nepali music. Over his prolific career, he composed around 1,200 songs and sang nearly 300, spanning genres like love ballads, bhajans, patriotic anthems, and tragic melodies. His compositions for artists such as Narayan Gopal, Tara Devi, and Aruna Lama remain timeless. 🎬 In cinema, Shiva Shankar played the lead role of Lahure Dai in Aama (1964), Nepal’s first feature film. Samrat Thapa is a Nepali film actor active since 2001, known for his work across commercial and social‑drama cinema, appearing in more than three dozen films over two decades. His career includes notable roles in Sapoot (2007), Mister Don (2008), Dosti (2009), Swabhiman (2010), Phool (2012), Love in China Border (2013), Agni (2015), Refugee (2016), and the upcoming Sarang (2025). His filmography reflects a consistent presence in mainstream Nepali cinema, contributing as both an actor and occasional co‑producer.
