Originally from Kathmandu, he holds a Master’s degree in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University in Kolkata, India, and a Professional Certificate in Logic Pro X from Berklee College of Music, Boston. He is a multi-instrumentalist and a prolific music arranger, having worked on a wide range of projects—from devotional compositions to film scores. Notably, he contributed to the Guinness World Record-holding song “Melancholy” and arranged music for Nepali films like Timi Sanga and Ma Yesto Geet Gauchu 2. Prabesh Man Shakya (प्रवेश मान शाक्य) is a talented Nepali singer, composer, and music arranger known for his soulful voice and dedication to preserving and reinterpreting traditional melodies. He is the son of the legendary singer Panna Kaji Shakya, and has continued his father’s musical legacy by reviving classic songs with modern arrangements.
