Ramesh Budhathoki has so far acted in 1,200 teleserials and in about five dozen movies. Moreover, he has also directed 11 movies. He also holds the record for making Nepal’s longest teleserial of 980 episodes which ran on Nepal 1 television from 2004 to 2007. Budhathoki also made Nepal’s first teleserial called Bacha Birseko Chaina (Haven’t Forgotten Promise) in 1986.

Min Ratna Bajracharya is widely celebrated as one of Nepal’s pioneering photojournalists, known for his instinctive eye and deep connection to the streets of Kathmandu. His career spans over three decades, during which he captured some of the most iconic moments in Nepal’s political and cultural history. One of his most famous photographs is of student activist Durga Thapa during the 1990 People’s Movement—leaping with vermilion-stained fingers in a double victory sign. He began selling postcards and helping tourists in Swayambhu, gradually developing a keen sense of visual storytelling. Despite working as a tailor for years, his passion for photography never waned. Encouraged by friends and mentors, he eventually transitioned into full-time photojournalism. He’s known for his technical skill and ability to find stories in everyday life. His deep familiarity with Kathmandu’s neighborhoods gave him unique access and insight, allowing him to document everything from political upheavals to quiet moments of daily life. Even as he approached retirement, Bajracharya remained humble and hopeful about the next generation of photographers, praising their speed and adaptability in the digital age.

Uddhab Poudel is a multi‑disciplinary Nepali film professional whose career spans more than three decades. Active since 1986, he has contributed to Nepali cinema as a producer, director, presenter, story writer, audiographer, and lyricist. His body of work includes more than 18–23 films, depending on credit category, making him one of the most versatile contributors in the industry.He is best known for producing acclaimed titles such as Pal (2011), Kusume Rumal 2 (2009), Jiwan Mrityu (2008), Ukali Orali (2004), Shahidgate (2002), and Mato Bolcha (1999). His early creative contributions include story writing for films like Arpan (1993), Pariwar (1991), and Jay Baba Pashupati Nath (1995), and lyric writing for Tilahari (1989).Across his career, Poudel has worked with major Nepali actors, directors, and production teams, and his credits span commercial cinema, musical storytelling, and technically demanding audiography work. He has also been recognized with honors such as the Lifetime Achievement Award (Infa Film Award 2070) and the Nepal Motion Picture Award (2056).
