Ramesh Ranjan Jha is a Nepalese Film Actor, Director and Writer, who works in Nepali and Maithili films. Ramesh Ranjan made his screen debut with the 1995 Maithili Drama Film "Kaniya". He has won numerous accolades in his career, including National Film Awards as Best Outstanding Acting Award and many awards at international film festivals and award ceremonies. He has won Best Actor in a Negative Role at Kamana Film Award from the movie Sanrakshan. He has also written several Books, Novel like - "Fhulba Haran", "Katha Sanghra" (Story collection), "Kabita Sanghra", "Sankarman", "DomKach" (Maithili Drama), "Umash" (Nepali Novel), "Sangor" (Maithili Novel), "Murda", "Rakt Barsha", "RangRag" and many more. He is Former Drama Department chief and Academician at Nepal Academy of Music & Drama From 2010 to 2018.

All his music videos were a huge success among Nepali music lovers. Many of the directors missed her from those videos. Since then life has begun to receive many offers from other directors as well. His breakthrough as an actor came with the blockbuster film Samjhana (1983), establishing him as one of the most popular romantic heroes of the 1980s and 1990s.In the early 1990s, KC expanded into film production, producing several commercially successful films that strengthened his position in the industry. He later moved into direction, making his directorial debut with Dreams (2016), starring his son Anmol KC.Across four decades, Bhuwan KC has remained a central figure in Nepali cinema, contributing to its evolution through performance, production, and direction.
