Although her recorded output was limited, her influence endures through timeless broadcasts and cultural tributes. Kansakar balanced her artistic passion with academic excellence, earning a Master’s in Economics and serving in the Nepal Government, where she rose to Vice Secretary. After marriage, she withdrew from music, yet her legacy continues to resonate with fans and younger generations who celebrate her unique contribution to Nepal’s golden musical era.

Anita Chalaune (अनिता चलाउने) is a vibrant and popular Nepali folk and Lok Dohori singer, known for her powerful vocals, catchy melodies, and dynamic stage presence. She has carved a niche in the modern Nepali music scene with a string of hit songs that blend traditional rhythms with contemporary flair. She’s also known for her collaborations with artists like Raju Dhakal, Rabi Oad, and Prabin Bedwal, and her songs often feature in Teej and Deuda celebrations.

Krishna Devkota is a Nepali folk and dohori singer, songwriter, and composer known for his expressive vocal delivery and commitment to authentic lok‑dohori traditions. Active through his official YouTube channel, he has released popular songs such as “Jor Dharako Pani”—where he contributed both lyrics and music—and collaborative hits including “Ma Ta Lahure Gorkha Paltan Ko,” “Ramdi Jharera,” and “Kasko Dil Thulo.” His works often feature leading artists like Shanti Shree Pariyar, Laxmi Neupane, Khuman Adhikari, and Devi Gharti. Laxmi Prasad Joshi, popularly known as LP Joshi, was a pioneering Nepali folk singer and composer celebrated for introducing the traditional Binayo to a global audience through his iconic creation “Riting Riting Nabajau Binayo, Binayole Man Mero Chhinayo.” Born in 1993 BS in Dhankuta‑6, Beechbazar, he devoted his life to the preservation and promotion of Nepali lok‑sanskriti. Recognized with the title Lokgeet Samrat, Joshi produced widely loved songs such as Riting Riting, Vallo Kholo Pallo Kholo, Nigalo Gharima Chyakhura Nachyo, and Khipima Khipi Binayo Baja. Beginning his artistic journey in 2008 BS through dance, he expanded into painting, singing, and literature, sharpening his multidisciplinary talent. His first recorded song appeared in 2013 BS, and by 2020 BS most of his works were already documented. Joshi passed away at age 88 on 2081 Saun 10, leaving behind a lasting cultural legacy.
