Born in Dashrathchand Municipality, Baitadi, in the Sudurpaschim Province of Nepal, Pela has spent over two decades enriching the Nepali music scene with his artistry and mentorship. Classical Music Journey Studied Indian classical music at Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, India. Trained under Guru Debashish Dev and Pandit Dhana Bahadur Gopali. Founded Shree Krishna Gurukul Sangeet Pathshala in Banasthali, Kathmandu. As a music instructor and founder, he has mentored numerous young talents who now contribute actively to Nepali music. Devi Gharti Magar is one of Nepal’s most celebrated folk singers, renowned for her powerful voice and deep connection to traditional Lok Dohori music. Born on January 5, 1986, in Ramuwa, Baglung, she has become a household name through decades of dedication to Nepali folk culture. Her musical journey began in the early 2000s, and she rose to prominence through duets with her husband and frequent collaborator, Raju Dhakal. Together, they’ve delivered countless hits, including “Oralima Bar”, “Dui Mutuko Bandhan”, and “Takine Aaina”. Her discography also features beloved songs like “Banki Chari” with Arjun Sapkota, “Lauri Harayo” with Pashupati Sharma, and “Rudai Fulyo Makhmali” with Badri Pangeni. Devi has received numerous accolades, including the Music Khabar Music Award, Teej Music Award, and Kalika Music Award, recognizing her as one of the best female folk singers in Nepal. She was also elected as a central member of the Lok Dohori Pratisthan in 2019, affirming her leadership in the folk music community. Her recent releases like “Saili Salala” and “Kholi Salala Jhaliko Jhalala” continue to resonate with audiences, blending heartfelt lyrics with traditional melodies.

Seturam Pradhan holds the distinction of being the first Nepali singer. Born in 1891 in Kathmandu, Nepal, he was a pioneer in Nepali music and played a significant role in its early development. His contributions laid the foundation for modern Nepali music, and his legacy continues to inspire artists and musicians in Nepal.

Nisha Deshar (निशा देशार) is a distinguished Nepali singer renowned for her contributions to the genres of ghazals and modern Nepali songs. Born on December 12, 1984 (Poush 27, 2041 B.S.), in Chapagaun, Lalitpur, Nepal, she is the daughter of Gyanlal Deshar and Chiri Maya Deshar. Nisha's musical journey commenced in 2001 (2058 B.S.) with her debut recording in the Nepal Bhasha language. She holds a Diploma in Music from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad, and has pursued academic studies, completing her SLC from Prerana Mahila Bidhyalaya and +2 from Bagmati Community Campus, majoring in English. Throughout her career, Nisha has released several albums, including:​ Lokarpan (2067 B.S.): A collection of ghazals and modern songs.​ Nisha (2070 B.S.): A compilation in the Nepal Bhasha language.​ Sharab (2071 B.S.): An album dedicated to ghazals.​ Her melodious voice and emotive performances have earned her accolades such as the Image Award, Bindabasini Award, Kalika Award, and the Rapati National Ghazal Award. In addition to her recordings, Nisha actively engages in nurturing young talent. She served as the chief guest at the Inter School Nepali Ghazal Singing Competition organized by DAV School, where she performed and motivated aspiring singers.
