Barsha Raut (born 14 December 1993) is a Nepalese actress and a professional model known for her work in Nepali entertainment industry. Barsha Raut has appeared in numerous music videos, television commercials and Nepali feature films. She started her career as a model with the music video ‘Rojeko Maile’  in 2013. She then featured in several music videos before making it onto the silver screen. She made her acting debut with Nai Nabhannu La 4 opposite Paul Shah and Aanchal Sharma who were also debuting as an actor. The film was a huge blockbuster at box office. Her most notable works to date as an actress include industry hit Chhakka Panja, Jatra and their sequel Jatrai Jatra, Chhakka Panja 2, Chhakka Panja 3, Mr. Jholay and Gopi,. She has been awarded most for her acting and character in the movie Jatra. However, she has owned awards from her other movies too including debut actress.

Deeya Pun, a talented Nepali actress, made her debut in the Nepali movie industry with the film “Bir Bikram”, which was released on August 18, 2016. Apart from acting, Deeya has also worked as a model and appeared in a Nepali music video directed by the same film’s director, Milan Chams. Her mother was also featured in some Nepali movies. Interestingly, Deeya’s background is quite diverse. She was born in Hong Kong and later moved to the United Kingdom at the age of nine. Despite spending most of her life abroad, she remains well-acquainted with Nepali culture. In her debut movie, “Bir Bikram,” Deeya portrayed the role of a simple village girl. In a remarkable achievement, Deeya Pun became the second Nepali actress to conquer Mount Everest. She reached the peak on May 27, 2022, joining an elite group of mountaineers. Prior to her Everest expedition, Deeya had already climbed Argentina’s 6,961-meter peak and the 8,163-meter tall Manaslu peak.
