Hailing from the Mahottari District of Nepal, Kiran belongs to a middle-class family. His melodious voice and captivating performances left a lasting impression on the audience during the competition. Kiran has graced the music scene with several notable songs. Prajwal studied piano at 6 and is still learning. He performed extensively all over Nepal. He has been involved in a diverse multitude of musical projects extending across a comprehensive range of musical styles, including pop, rock, R&B, commercial music, Indian Classical, Western Classical, Jazz, Fusion, etc. as well as the broad spectrum of Nepali music collaborating with local, national and international artists. Involvement in the recording industry, commercial television production, music theatre, and teaching rounded out his activities in Nepal. Prajwal is a member of the Music Association of Nepal and has actively worked as a Keyboardist and a Music Director with International Franchise Television reality shows such as Nepal Idol, Voice of Nepal, SaReGaMaPa Li’l Champs, and other local reality shows. Prajwal has extensive experience in music performances. He worked in the prestigious music club of Nepal, “RAJGHARANA,” for three years and toured with many well-known Nepali, Indian, and other international musicians. He was also on the faculty of Nepal Music Center, Kathmandu Jazz Conservatory, and the University of North Texas, currently teaching Piano. Prajwal is currently focused on creating original music and is a member of several Nepali bands performing concerts with visiting international music artists.

Prashna Shakya is a Nepali pop singer. In 2003, Hits FM awarded her Best Pop Performance Female. Prashna Shakya was born in Dharan, Nepal. Her parents are Sumitra and Binod Shakya. She has a sister and brother. When she was a teenager, her parents wanted her to pursue sports in school. Shakya preferred music and performed at school and began taking music lessons, including studying under Dibya Khaling. She participated in a singing contest by Radio Nepal and was named a finalist.

Buddhi Bahadur Pariyar was a gifted Nepali folk composer whose song “Resham Firiri” became a cultural anthem. Born in Pokhara, Pariyar grew up immersed in the rhythms of village life. In 1972, he composed “Resham Firiri Resham Firiri”, inspired by the hills and daily joys of Nepali people. The song was recorded in 1974 by Sunder Shrestha and Dwarika Lal Joshi, and quickly gained national fame. Its catchy tune and relatable lyrics made it a favorite among street performers, travelers, and diaspora communities. Despite its popularity, Pariyar remained largely uncredited, highlighting the struggles of folk creators in Nepal’s music industry. His work reflects the soul of Nepali folk traditions—simple, melodic, and deeply rooted in lived experience. “Resham Firiri” continues to echo across generations, symbolizing the enduring charm of Nepal’s musical heritage.
