Dibya Subba has spent five years in the Nepali music industry, releasing two albums, Pratha and Pariwartan. While he initially collaborated with arrangers, he always dreamed of working with a band. That dream has now come true with The BlueAcidz, a group he admired for years. His third album, DibyaSubba N' The BlueAcidz, marks a fresh chapter in his journey. With nine experimental tracks, the album explores themes beyond love and tragedy—delving into nature, mountains, and the spirit of Nepal. The creative process was organic, built in jam sessions where band members crafted melodies and lyrics together. Reflecting on his growth, Dibya embraces change and evolution, both in life and music. Grateful for his fans’ unwavering support, he remains committed to creating pure, meaningful, and ever-evolving music.

Arun Thapa (1952–1999) was a beloved Nepali singer-songwriter known for his soulful voice and emotionally resonant lyrics. Born in Calcutta, India, he moved to Kathmandu as an infant and later studied in Darjeeling before returning to Nepal to pursue music. His career began in the early 1970s, with his first major hit Jati Maya Laye Pani launching him into national fame. Thapa’s music often reflected themes of love, longing, and introspection, inspired by a personal heartbreak during his college years. His compositions blended poetic depth with melodic simplicity, earning him a devoted following. He worked briefly at Nepal Bank Limited before dedicating himself fully to music, recording for Radio Nepal and releasing two acclaimed albums: Arun and The Best of Arun. Despite battling lung and liver ailments, he continued to sing until his passing in 1999. His legacy lives on through his timeless songs, many of which are considered sadabahar (evergreen) classics.

Rabi Rimal is a Nepali pop singer, lyricist, and composer born on April 11, 1973 AD in Kirtipur, Kathmandu, known for his expressive vocal tone and long-standing contribution to Nepal’s modern pop scene. He began his musical journey in 2053 BS (1996/1997 AD), entering the industry as a young vocalist while also writing and composing his own songs, gradually building recognition through studio recordings, stage performances, and collaborations with senior musicians. Rimal rose to wider popularity with the hit “Chari Udyo Badal Chhunalai,” followed by well‑known pop releases such as “Aaja Timro Yaad Ma (Sad Rose),” “Nabolau,” “Yo Sansar Timrai Lagi,” and “Timi Sangai,” which strengthened his identity as a heartfelt pop artist. As the founder and lead member of Sad Rose Band, he has remained active for over two decades, continuing to perform nationwide and release new music that reflects his signature emotional style.
