Nischal Basnet is a celebrated Nepali director, actor, writer, and playback singer known for revolutionizing modern Nepali cinema. Born on January 17, 1980, in Birtamod, Jhapa, he studied film at Oscar International College. His directorial debut Loot (2012) became a cult hit, followed by acclaimed films like Talakjung vs Tulke (2014) and Loot 2 (2017). As an actor, he starred in Kabaddi Kabaddi, Dui Rupaiyan, and Prasad. Known for blending realism, dark humor, and social commentary, Basnet is married to actress Swastima Khadka. His work continues to shape the narrative and technical evolution of Nepali cinema.

Sachin Singh is a Nepali musician based in Kathmandu, Nepal. He has composed and arranged music for more than 45 Nepali films. He has also composed music for numerous music albums of various Nepali singers. In Kathmandu, Sachin started working in Symphonic Studio as a guitarist, taught music in schools and played guitar in a restaurant. He composed song Hijo Aaja for Sukmit Gurung's album Hijo Aaja in 1991. He then arranged music for the Nepali film Sweekar of Subodh Shridhar. After a gap of two years he again worked in the film Dharma where he went unnoticed. He gained attention with the song Mero Maya Lai Bari Lai in Ragat (1997). His fame came with the film Sagun (1998) where he composed popular songs like 'Aago Lagyo Dilaima Damkal Bolaideu'. This was a turning point in the Sachin's musical career. Lathi Charge Nagara, Kahabata Ayau Aja, Kasko Aankha Lagyo (Prahineer), Sano Cha Gaun (Sano Sansar) and Ke Kura (Ajhai Pani) are some of this well-known compositions.

Dipak Sharma is a powerhouse in the Nepali music industry, known for his melodic versatility and emotional depth. Since beginning his career in 2061 B.S., he has composed over 1,000 songs across genres—ranging from modern pop and folk to film scores and Teej anthems. Early Life & Musical Roots Sharma moved to Kathmandu in 2060 B.S. after completing his SLC. While working in a hotel, he pursued music under the guidance of Guru Narhari Premi at Shruti Sangeet Vidyalaya. His first composition was the folk tune Dhalke Pipal, which marked the beginning of a remarkable journey. Artistic Vision Dipak Sharma is known for blending traditional Nepali melodies with modern arrangements. His music often carries emotional storytelling, making him a favorite among both listeners and fellow artists.

Gopal Yonjan (1943–1997) was a towering figure in Nepali music—an accomplished singer, lyricist, music director, arranger, flutist, and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Darjeeling, India, he began his musical journey with the flute, winning accolades as a young performer. His deep study of Nepali folk, Rabindra Sangeet, and classical traditions shaped a career that spanned over three decades and more than 2,000 compositions. Yonjan moved to Kathmandu in 1967 to pursue his MA in Nepali and taught music at prestigious schools while composing for Radio Nepal, Nepal Police Club, and films. His partnership with Narayan Gopal is considered the golden era of Nepali modern music. He was known for blending poetic depth with rich orchestration, often writing, composing, and arranging his own songs. His works spanned genres—patriotic, romantic, philosophical, spiritual, and children's music. He was honored with the Gorkha Dakshin Bahu, Chinnalata Song Award, and multiple Best Music Director titles. His legacy continues to inspire generations of musicians and listeners.
