Before moving to Nepal, she contributed her voice to several Manipuri films, gaining recognition in the regional music scene. In 2048 BS, Yasoda moved to Kathmandu, Nepal, where she quickly became a part of the local music scene. She began singing live performances on Radio Nepal, focusing on classical songs. Her breakthrough moment came in the same year when she recorded her first song, "Din Dhalyo Andheri Raat Maa," which became an instant hit and established her as a household name in Nepali music. Following this success, Yasoda continued to build her career, contributing her voice to numerous albums. In 2049 BS, Yasoda married Ganesh Parajuli, a fellow musician and singer. Together, they released three duet albums: "Gaunko Maya," "Yugal," and "Saha Yatra," which were well-received by the public. For several years, they lived in Hong Kong, where they continued to perform and share their musical journey.
