KATHMANDU: Holi or Fagu Purnima is the festival of colors. It is celebrated among your family members and friends by smearing powder of different colors to each other and hurling water at one another. ‘Holi Fest 2072’ organized by Day Out Travels and Tour Pvt Ltd on March 22 at Bajeko Sekuwa, Batisputtali was one such fun event. This musical event spread happiness among the audiences through music and dance.
The event that started from 9:00 am saw rocking performances from the amazing singer Sugam Pokhrel and rapper Girish Khatiwada. They performed their hit numbers to which people — who were smeared in different color powder — danced, and had time of their life. The festive mood was further elevated by DJ Shishir and DJ Punit.
‘Holi Fest 2072’ was a fun family affair where children had also participated in the celebration. From getting people soaked in water to smearing power of different colors, people played Holi with their loved ones. The event was association with Artist Nepal network. And it was aired live on Sky TV and Mero FM.
